This Inishowen restaurant is popular all year round for its dry-aged Donegal steaks and fresh fish and seafood sourced from Donegal’s local fishermen. During the winter you can also enjoy beautiful wild game, also locally sourced.

Under the direction of Head Chef Sean Clifford, who has worked at fine establishments such as the Ivy in London, our skilled kitchen team uses only the finest of local ingredients, including seasonal produce from our kitchen garden. Our dessert menu, fresh breads and afternoon tea treats are all homemade by our experienced pastry chefs and are always well received.

I attended a wedding with friends at The Red Door. The venue itself is lovely with a a small hotel feel. The views are beautiful and the garden and patio lovely, especially when the sun comes out. Food was great and staff attentive, maintaining good service throughout. I would go to the Red Door again and thoroughly enjoyed the day there. Recommended for a wedding venue.
