Enjoy a 2 course dinner in our beautifully appointed restaurant overlooking Lough Swilly and Inch Island.
Experience authentic Ireland over a quiet drink by the fireside with local musician, writer and genealogist Seoirse O’Dochartaigh, (winner of Pan Celtic National Song Contest).

Aurora Borealis
One of the world’s most famous and stunning solar phenomena has been spotted over Inishowen skies recently and is expected to continue over the coming months.
The Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, has its best chance of being seen in more than a decade because of a peak in the sun’s activity.
9th – 19th May 2013 – Guth Gafa Film Festival, Inishowen and Derry
Taking place in two locations, the hub of the 7th International Documentary Festival’s main screening venues will be in Malin Village, and a series of satellite film events will be held in Derry. With a 6 year track record attracting the newest and best award-winning international and Irish documentary films to the North-West, Guth Gafa explores themes of human rights, social issues and the environment.
10th – 12th May 2013 – Donegal County Fleadh Cheoil, Culdaff
For the second year in succession the County Fleadh Cheoil will be hosted by the Inishowen Branch of Comhaltas, Seamus Mac Giolla Bhride in Culdaff.
1st – 2nd June 2013 – The Gathering Festival, Buncrana
Music lovers, homecomers, visitors and anyone looking for a great weekend of entertainment and craic are invited to come along and experience a wonderful atmosphere. In what promises to be a great weekend this is a special one off event not to be missed.
21st – 22nd June 2013 – Feile Grianan of Ailigh, Burt
The ancient Fort of Grianan has much legend and historical stories attached to it and it has been the focal point for human activity for thousands of years. The Féile will tell historical stories through folklore/storytelling, ancient song, music, dance and carnival/drama/pageant in and around the Fort on the day.
It will also consist of many exhibits, such as Basket Making, Wattle Making, Yarn Spinning, Falconry, Blacksmith /armoury, illustrating the life of the area at that time in history.
4th – 11th August 2013 – Clonmany Festival
This family event is a week of summer fun for all ages. From raft races and cycling events to treasure hunts and talent competitions, the festival has something to offer everyone.
12th – 18th August 2013 – Fleadh Cheoil na h’Eireann
For the first time ever, Fleadh Cheoil na h’Eireann is being held Derry~Londonderry in the year of City of Culture 2013. Derry is a 15 minute drive from The Red Door and taxis are readily available.
